1960 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe-Beautiful Custom Concept


Only one in the world!! What GM could of done. This 1960 Cadillac coupe has been beautifully customized and is lazer straight with 45,000 original miles. This car has been stripped to bare metal, customized (removed tail fins and tunneled tail lights) and painted with a Sickens B/C-C/Coat in a copper/mica orange. The removed fins were used to fabricate the custom interior console. The tail fin lights function as the interior courtesy lights when the doors are opened.

This car features power steering, power brakes, new windshield and gasket, new rubber seals for the doors, trunk and rails, new idler arm and outer tie rod ends, 4 new wheel cylinders, new brakes and brake hardware, 4 new shocks, new brake lines and hoses, new fuel tank and fuel lines, new street rod heater and defroster unit, newly recored radiator, new radiator and heater hoses, and new belts. The engine has had a fresh tune-up with a newly rebuilt carburator, starter, generator and wiper motor, a new voltage regulator, a new water pump, a new oil filter and a fresh oil change using Lucas and Syntec oil. This car also features a new master brake cylinder, new sway bar bushings, new transmission filter (special) and gasket, new driveshaft universals (3), while the center bearing checked OK, and a new custom trans. cooler and lines.

This outstanding interior is finished in an Apricot Allanti vinyl covering the 1965 T-Bird bucket front seats and stock Caddy back seats, arm rests, door panels, and head liner, with rust colored carpet and custom wrapped garnish mouldings.

The customized touches include; de-chromed, the back of the car is sectioned one inch in the fin area,the tail lights are shortened 1.5 inches and Frenched, a welded and smoothed two piece front hood nose, powder coated bumpers- front and rear, air cleaner, valve covers and other engine compartment parts amd 100spoke knock offs and diamond back steel wwradials.

Spare parts include; NOS fuel pump, new full set of brake shoes, new ball joints (4), new 'A' arm shafts and bushings. Over $55,000 invested. This car knocks people out and stops traffic.
