Originally bought in Cookeville, TN, this true 454 SS collector truck has been partially restored and customized. Body has no rust or wreck damage. The exterior is custom painted (bed off frame) with Dupont’s Black top and Hot Hues Orion Silver bottom. Custom designed and painted “454 SS” logo all under 6 coats of clear. The bed is Rhino coated. The rear bumper was shaved and the tailgate was smoothed on outside with handle moved to inside.
The wheels are 17” Bonneville Salt Flat Wheels with custom billet oversize spinners. The back wheels are 17X8 inch wrapped with large 32 inch tall Falken tires. The front wheels are 17X6 inch wrapped with 235s.
Suspension was professionally lowered with the Bell Tech system, 4 inch rear and front. The exhaust is oversize aluminum pipes with Stage 3 Flowmasters.
The original 454 motor was replaced with a crate Tonawanda (New York) 454 motor at 68,000 and currently has 28,000 miles on it. Also replaced at that time was the radiator, hoses, alternator, battery, power disc brakes, suspension and shocks. New head lights were added and LED tail lights.
Interior is all original except for the Billet Specialties Custom steering wheel and Viper Alarm System. All gauges, air and equalizer stereo look and work great.
