I will start from the beginning, I am the second owner of this car, four years in my possesion, 16 in the original owner John Souza. The merc was built here in San Diego, body work, sheet metal, paint done by Jack White restorations, assembly by
Norm Francis street rods, chassis by Nick Nicolson. John bought the merc in its original condition, brought to San Diego, no rust or bondo in car.This was in 1988, started frame off restoration, chassis modification, then painted all of chasis, with same color as body, algryst paint, no clear coat, all of the best parts on chassis, 9 inch, coil overs, hidden booster brakes, disc brakes all around, mustang 2, front end. body is tubbed slightly, hood flattened, head lights, tail lights frenched, welded body seams,top chopped four inches, electric front windows, electric mirrors, electric antenna, windshield wipers, tinted windows. Interior, is gray leather with gray wool , center arm rest in rear seat, bucket seats, hand rolled dash,vintage heat and air.Uphostery double stitched, interior is painted lexus gray,top is black mercedes convertible cloth. There is 30,000 miles on car, always garaged, never washed with cold water, luke warm only,oh original Boyd Coddington wheels made in 1989.
